已發(fā)現(xiàn)長鏈非編碼 RNA (lncRNA) HOX 轉(zhuǎn)錄反義 RNA (HOTAIR) 在許多人類惡性腫瘤中過表達(dá)并參與腫瘤進(jìn)展和轉(zhuǎn)移。盡管 HOTAIR 調(diào)節(jié)腫瘤轉(zhuǎn)移的下游靶點尚不清楚，但有證據(jù)表明 miR-23b 可能參與了這一事件。

2018年2月8日，陜西中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)朱振寧（音譯，Zhu Zhenning）在Bioscience Reports在線發(fā)表題為「HOTAIR contributes to cell proliferation and metastasis of cervical cancer via targeting miR-23b/MAPK1 axis」的研究論文，該研究確定了HOTAIR發(fā)揮其致癌作用的新途徑，并為HOTAIR在宮頸癌預(yù)后和治療中的潛在應(yīng)用提供了分子基礎(chǔ)。

但是，在2021年6月8日，該文章被撤回，主要原因是該文章的實驗樣品，標(biāo)尺及桌布在其他多達(dá)10篇文章出現(xiàn)重復(fù)使用，同時作者沒有回應(yīng)編輯的詢問；另外，作者的單位是陜西中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)（Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine），卻拼寫成了山西中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)（Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine）。

在收到讀者的通知后，應(yīng)主編和編輯委員會的要求，本文將從 Bioscience Reports 中撤回，提醒編輯委員會注意圖 2C、3C、5E、6J 和 7A，其中包含重疊數(shù)據(jù)和圖像與其他幾個出版物的重復(fù)。

已就撤稿事宜與作者聯(lián)系，但作者未回應(yīng)雜志社的詢問和提出的擔(dān)憂。鑒于所提出問題的嚴(yán)重程度，編輯委員會支持撤回該文章的決定。

Retraction編輯部發(fā)現(xiàn)，該文章使用的桌布與其他10篇不同單位的作者使用的桌布高度相似，具體情況如下：
