ThecustomizableBinaryGradientPumpingSystem,partoftheLSClass,isanadvancedpumpingsystemfortwo-solventhigh-pressuregradientapplications.Thesystemisdesignedwithtwosingle-headpositivedisplacementpistonpumpsintegratedintoafunctionalenclosure.
Equippedwithbeltdrivepumpmechanismswithshapedcamandelectronicfastrefill,thesystemproducesverylowpulsation.FluidpathmaterialsarestainlesssteelandPEEK,withoptionaltitanium.AvailablefeaturesincludePrime-PurgeValvesforeachchannel,PulseDampenersforreducedpulsation,pressuremonitoringwithintegratedtransducer,bulkheadoutletfilters,anin-line,high-pressure,low-volumemixingchamber,andadriptraywithleaksensor.
ThesystemcomesequippedwiththeSSIGradientControlBoard,whichhasanintegratedSoftwareGUIforcustomizablemethoddevelopmentandinput.Thisallowsforautonomousbinarygradientformationwithouttheneedforcontinuouscomputermonitoringandcontrolafterdownloadingthemethodontothecontrolboard.Serialcommandsmaybeusedtodirectlysetpumpflowrates,start/pause,ormonitorstatus.AdditonalfeaturesoftheGradientBoardincludecontroloftwosolvent-selectionvalves,multipletimedevents,andleakdetection.
